Funding will be used to improve physical activity in school and at playtime and lunchtimes through developing activities and adult support.
Funding has been allocated to developing CPD for the staff, through the appointment of outside agencies and special visitors, providing swimming equipment where appropriate (such as goggles and hats), transporting children to and from school swimming sessions, PE equipment inspections and other one-off activities such as Multi-Sports and Football Fiva.
Funding will be used to revamp the playground area, including resurfacing and remarking.
Measuring the impact of SPG spending
The measurement of the impact of the support and interventions shows through a large number of pupils attending clubs and participating in a range of competitions and events.
