Week beginning 16th January.

Good afternoon. Class 1 have been very busy writing facts about dogs and using what they have learnt in their independent learning. After talking about where dogs live the children were all very keen to make homes for dogs.

We need to feed dogs biscuits or meat and give them water.

In mathematics we have been learning measurement and have been busy weighing things to find which items are heavier, lighter or the same.

We have also been busy exploring the ice in the outside space and talked about the patterns we could see, explore ways of making it melt and experimented with ways of breaking it.

Ice that looks like a fish!

Ice that looks like a dogs bone!

We enjoyed learning about how Chinese celebrate new year and taste some Chinese food.

Have a great weekend everyone.
