Year 6 week at Condover Hall

What a week it has been, fantastic activities along with fantastic children and adults. We have conquered the multi-vines course, low ropes and had many games of archery tag, managing to hit the adults – what fun.

The day spent at Blists Hill was amazing; we dressed as Victorian children and took part in lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic. The adventure area was brilliant and we all enjoyed the zip wire as well as visiting the sweet shop – not sure they have much left to sell now!

The evening activities included Busted, lots of laughter, fun and questions (and we won), Giant Cluedo and mini olympics.

Rafting was so much fun, with friendships and teamwork going from strength to strength. We loved jumping in the lake and having water fights.

The climbing wall was high but we reached the top and abseilled down. Jacob’s Ladder was a challenge with the rungs getting further apart the higher you climb, but some of us managed to get right to the top.

Finishing with archery was great and Mrs Sykes hit the bullseye – what a way to finish an outstanding week.

Our favourite activity – all of them! Can we stay for the weekend!
