Week beginning 21st March.

Class 1 had a very busy week last week. They enjoyed learning and acting out the story of the enormous turnip. They even found the turnip buried in the garden, which they dug up, took to the mud kitchen and made delicious turnip soup.

In maths we have continued practicing finding the total of two groups and have been counting on from the big number to find the total.

Wednesday was very exciting and class 1 had a fantastic day at the farm. All the children enjoyed bottle feeding the lambs, hand feeding the calves and goats, and holding a kid, rabbit and a guinea pig and they even stroked a turkey. The day provided lots of information and we learned what the baby animals were called, what some of the animals eat, and what they provide us with.
