An exciting week with our topic ‘Hogwarts Express’. In Science we have been running an investigation to discover the best material we can use for Professor Snape’s new potion bag. The material needs to be a good insulator to keep his potions cool and prevent anything turning nasty!
In Art we chose our Patronus and used chalk pastels to represent these on dark paper, so they look like the Patronus from the film.
In English we finished writing our narative poems and have published them on our own designed paper.
We then went on to write a set of instructions, the context being a recipe for a potion for Professor Snape. The recipes were followed carefully to make the potions.
