Class 3 had an exciting visit to our pop-up German café where they were able to experience the taste of German food. They used their German vocabulary to order a variety of different foods. A great time was had by all and some interesting tasters sampled. Vielen Dank to Frau Benton for organising this marvelous venture.
We also enjoyed our ice-cream treat on Wednesday afternoon, in the cold and rain! We would like to thank the P.T.A. for this lovely treat, the different flavours were delicious and it was great to see the children enjoying them even on one of our typical British summer days.
Year 6 participated in ‘Bikeability’ on Thursday and Friday each passing this stage. They worked hard and were exhausted by the end of the week. It is extremely important that they understand how to ride safely on our roads as they get ready to embark on the next part of their educational journey.
We are all looking forward to Monday when we visit Legoland, in our rainbow colours to help celebrate the NHS birthday. Hoping the weather will improve a little.
Have a good weekend.
