It was a busy week back in class 1. All the children were very excited by our new topic ‘The Seaside’.
In their independent learning they were very busy creating their own beach in the role play area inside and running the fish and chip shop in the play house outside. They have also enjoyed giving their own Punch and Judy shows in the puppet theatre.
In Mathematics this week the children worked on counting forward and backwards from any number all the way to 100!
Friday afternoon was very exciting, we got to take part in our first Karate lesson and all the children had a great time.
