Here is some of the learning from class 1 this week.
Everyone has been busy making their own books and re-writing the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Year 1 have re-written the story using adjectives to describe the different fruits and reception have created their own sentences and used their phonic knowledge to write.
In maths they have been recognising the value of different coins and notes and counting in coins and in the construction area the children have used the K’nex to build a mini-beast and write instructions to build it.
They have all made beautiful sun catcher butterflies, which can be seen in the window facing the main playground.
When we return to school the week of the 7th June class 1 will have PE on Thursday that week.
