This week we have been researching friction and planned an investigation into the effects of friction. We will be completing our investigations next Wednesday. Each pair have decided how they would like to run their investigation and submitted a list of apparatus they require.
We have begun our Magnificent Mountains topic and used an atlas to discover where the different mountain ranges are in the world and how these are represented on maps. Next week we will look at mountain ranges within the United Kingdom. We are still continuing with our collage representing a river system (this artwork is taking time, but the results so far are spectacular).
We continue with our design and technology project – making moving creatures using cams. We have overcome a great many barriers during the making process and as a result we have shown endurance and perseverance. The results so far are showing promise and we have really enjoyed this project.
