Well, what an exciting week we have had. We have been investigation air resistance and the children designed and made parachutes. They then investigated to see which design was the best by timing each design’s fall to earth. The wind caused some minor difficulties but with perseverance we succeeded.
We have also been reading and interpreting pie charts during our maths sessions, using protractors to help us to draw accurately.
We continue to learn about rivers and have begun looking at how to write a non-chronological report. We will use our knowledge to write a report about rivers or particular rivers of choice. Look out for examples in our next blog.
