Good Morning Class 2,

Below are the learning activities for today.
English
Learning Objective/Focus: | Using determiners
Main input | Determiners are words which come before nouns and give us important information about them. Use the attached PowerPoint to help.
Activities | To use “a” and “an” correctly. If a noun begins with a vowel we use “an” instead of “a” before it. eg we say a dog, but an alligator. Please complete the attached sheet. Alternatively, find 10 words where you would use “an” instead of “a” as a determiner.
Complete one of the attached Determiner detectives sheets.
Determiners can be split into different categories. Ones that show ownership eg my, his, our etc Ones that introduce a question eg whose, what, which etc Ones that indicate a specific noun eg this, that, those Ones that show a number eg many, few, three etc Write a heading for each group and underline it. Then write as many determiners as you can think of for that category. You could use a dictionary.
